Location

This hotel is located on the banks of the river Daugava, and looks back across the water towards the old town of Riga. It is a totally new, cream-coloured building which dominates its surroundings. It is a 10-minute walk to the heart of the old town, and an hourly shuttle bus is available for those guests not wishing to go on foot.

Rooms

Bedrooms are medium to large on average, but do vary in size in some cases. They are all in excellent condition and very hard to find fault with. The design style throughout the hotel combines modern decor with traditional touches of class.

Restaurant

The main restaurant is a large split-level room adjoining an intimate bar area. The design is simpler here, yet retains a smart, business-like feel.

Exterior

The hotel is housed in a large cream-coloured building.

Lobby

The lobby is large, with elegant marble floors and pillars. There is a corridor housing a bank, which leads through to the fitness centre. There is plenty of seating in a traditional style.

General

This hotel is one of the best in Riga. Although it is just across the river from the old town, the quality of the product and service more than make up for this. KM10/08
