Max's serves up modern cuisine with an emphasis on locally sourced high quality produce ranging from fresh fish, Sussex meat and seasonal vegetables to homemade ice cream. Originally built in 1771 as houses the building was converted into a a hotel in 1819 and remains a grand period building.
