Location

Located on Sheridan Street, 500 meters to the city centre, 300 metres from the waterfront, Cairns Central Shopping Centre and the train station. Cairns is an ideal base to explore the Barrier Reef, visit the Kuranda Rainforest and Scenic Railway and magnificent beaches at Palm Cove and Port Douglas.

Rooms

Studio rooms are located within the newly built wing of the property. They are spacious with modern amenities including private bathroom and kitchenette and dining facilities. They are clean and comfortable and feature ceiling fans, fridge, a clock and TV with In-house movies.

Restaurant

The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner and there are also self service outdoor BBQ facilities.

Exterior

Check in for Studio Rooms still takes place in the central lobby area of the property, however there is a large entrance on the ground floor of the new wing with comfortable seating, allowing an extra space for guests in transit. Low rise building with a small swimming pool onsite, as well as undercover porch and BBQ area. A coin operated shared laundry is also available for guest use, as well as internet facilities, shower amenities (for check outs or early arrivals) and tour desk.

Lobby

Small lobby with tour desk facilities and luggage storage. There is also a separate transit lounge area with comfortable seating indoors.

General

Small hotel, offering value for money for the budget minded. COURTESY BUS transfers from the airport - on arrival at Cairns Airport, use the phone at the Accommodation Board advising you have arrived. Return transfers are available at set times. Both available 7 days, between 7 am to 7 pm. (rc0910)
