Located in the heart of the city center of Chicago, right on the Magnificent Miles, the Peninsula is close to the best shopping experience along the famous North Michigan Avenue and to the various cultural and sightseeing venues such as Millennium Park, Navy Pier, museums and galleries.

Rooms

Looking out over beautiful and bustling Michigan Avenue - the Magnificent Mile - the Grand Deluxe is a 1,007 square foot suite offering luxuriously appointed seating areas and dressing area. The suite is equipped with a bedside touch panel allowing control of room temperature, lighting, TV, radio alarm clock and privacy sign. All bathrooms come with separate shower stall and a deep soaking tub with a TV on the marble wall. All rooms have high speed internet accessibility and is complimentary.

Restaurant

Four wonderful restaurants and a bar are 5 diamond awarded. Seafood fine dining, Shanghai Terrace offers contemporary Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisine including Dim Sum for lunch. The Lobby is an all day dining restaurant including the signature Peninsula Afternoon Tea plus Friday and Saturday nights, our tempting Chocolate Bar Buffet and Pierrot Gourmet which is located on the street level.

Exterior

The main entrance is on 108 East Superior Street with the west side of the hotel facing North Michigan Avenue. A brand new hotel built and opened in June 2001.

Lobby

There is a motor lobby on the ground floor inside the main entrance, where our guest services staff will assist guests with their luggage. After taking the elevator from the motor lobby, guests will arrive on the 5th floor where our check in lobby is located.
