Location

Situated at the end of Princess wharf and overlooking Auckland Waitemata harbour. Close to the Viaduct yacht harbour with its choice of restaurants and Cafes. Walking distance (300 metres) to the shopping and CBD. A day spa - called Spa de Serville adjoins the hotel.

Rooms

The bow suites are positioned at the front of the hotel right over the harbour. They are triangular in shape reflecting the bow of a ship. They have excellent large balconies with unsurpassed views over the water and seating. Decorated to a very high standard they are available as king bed only, no twin. Floor to ceiling windows ensure they are light filled rooms with stylish designer lounge seating. Additional room facilities include complimentary Espresso machine, large LCD TV with DVD player in room safe and mini bar. The spacious bathrooms are predominantly marble and have separate bathtub and shower.

Restaurant

White is the signature restaurant and has won many awards, it is a contemporary restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fantastic views, cuisine and service. There is a very nice cocktail bar on the ground floor called Bellinis.

Exterior

A Modern building completed in 2002. A striking development on the waterfront, nautically inspired design, reminiscent of a sleek ship. The large international cruise ships do dock alongside the hotel when visiting Auckland, this adds to the sophisticated feel to the hotel but can also mean its crowded when the cruise ships are in port.

Lobby

Modern, medium size lobby reflects the link between seascape and landscape. Lots of light and a pleasant place to sit and relax.

General

One of the best Auckland five star hotels, in a perfect location. Everything is very modern, this hotel is boutique style, and a very high standard. SE0408
