Location

The Karikari peninsula is 30 km from Kaitaia airport and approximately 85 km from Kerikeri airport in the Northland region. The accommodation is part of a much larger 3,000 acre estate.

Rooms

There are two type of rooms, the Lodge rooms and the Villas (see separate listing). The Lodge rooms are luxurious and spacious and contain 1 super king bed or 2 King single beds. The rooms have wide verandah many with views over the Pacific Ocean. Amenities such as mini bar, satellite TV, broad band internet connection are all available in the rooms.

Restaurant

The Dining room is the main restaurant and serves breakfast and evening fine dining with a daily changing menu. The restaurant overlooks the golf course and the sea beyond. The Karikari estate winery within the resort provides wine tasting and casual lunch meals.

Colonial in style one level building in white wood and continuous verandahs.

General

This is a fantastic resort with beautiful accommodation. Probably the most on site activities of any resort in New Zealand. Such as tournament standard 18 hole golf course, Pro golf shop, tennis courts, 25 metre outdoor heated pool, massage and spa treatments clay pigeon (skeet) shooting on the Olympic standard site, mountain biking, horse riding and wine tasting. As part of the estate there is a 900 acre wetlands which attracts rare bird life and long stretches of white sandy beaches. An unrivalled place to stay a few days and unwind. SE1008
