Location

This hotel is located on Sheridan street, within walking distance of central Cairns. There are plenty of shops nearby. Cairns is a vibrant town providing a base from which you can explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef and the heritage listed rainforests of tropical north QLD. Cairns airport is 10min by car north of the hotel. Beachside villages of Palm Cove and Port Douglas are 40min - 1 hour drive north of Cairns.

The rooms have been recently refurbished and offer modern furnishings and facilities. Rooms feature high speed wireless broadband, free inhouse movies, air conditioning and bar size refrigerator. Low rise purpose built hotel on a street corner (although rooms are located well back from the thoroughfare so noise is not an issue). Property features an outdoor free form salt water swimming pool with lounge chairs. Onsite car parking is also available.

The lobby is air-conditioned and brightly lit with some seating available and tour desk facilities.

General

A great budget option for business and leisure travellers. The quality furnishings and amenities ensure high levels of comfort and the staff are very friendly. Excellent value for money, highly recommended. MN0408.
